Jonathan Ryan’s new recording entitled "Influences" on the Acis label. Incorporating and exploring music containing significant influences from another style and/or nationality, it features major works and premieres recorded on an instrument noted for its fusion of German, French, and English styles: the 1912 Stahlhuth/2002 Jann organ (IV/94) in the spectacular acoustic of St. Martin’s Church in Dudelange, Luxembourg. The repertoire is: Introduction, Passacaglia, and Fugue, Op. 149 by Healey Willan; Ride in a High Speed Train by Ad Wammes (premiere recording); Pastorale by Philip Moore (commission & premiere recording); and Symphonie-Passion, Op. 23 by Marcel Dupré.
